SOLOMON AIRLINES ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION

Solomon Airlines Board today announced a transition in its executive leadership with the stepping down of CEO Sean Teo, effective immediately.

Solomon Airlines Board extended gratitude to Mr Teo for his dedicated contribution. Mr Teo has led the airline for the past 14 months, supporting the launch and implementation of the
airline’s 2024-2028 strategic plan, route expansion and major aircraft checks, and hosting of the Association of South Pacific Airlines (ASPA) conference held in Honiara last month.

The Board of Directors expects to confirm a new CEO for the national carrier in the coming months. Solomon Airlines said that while the airline industry continues to face challenging times, its leadership team remains confident in Solomon Airlines strategic direction and with the support of stakeholders, dedicated staff and loyal customers, Solomon Airlines will continue to thrive.

The airline has put in place an interim management team to support the transition period and to maintain the high standards of service that our customers have come to expect
