Over 70 Agriculture students from the Solomon Islands National University (SINU) have successfully completed a rice harvest exercise at the Taiwan Technical Mission Farm in Honiara yesterday.
A statement from Taiwan technical Mission Farm today says the practical exercise wanted to give students hands-on practice to support their theory learning in their agriculture class.
The harvest exercise is part of Taiwan’s technical support to Solomon Islands and was organized under an educational program between SINU and Taiwan Technical Mission.
The SINU students were supervised by lecturer Henry Gwao during the practical session.
Mr. Gwao thanked the Taiwan Technical Mission for the opportunity to deepen students learning in rice cultivation and harvesting at the farm.
