The RAMSI Special Coordinator Justine Braithwaite and the PPF Commander Greg Harrigan have paid a courtesy call on Malaita’s Premier Edwin Suibaea at the provincial capital Auki.

A statement from the Office of RAMSI Special Coordinator yesterday said Ms Braithwaite and Mr Harrigan used the occasion to brief Premier Suibaea on a proposed visit by Australia’s Minister for Justice Michael Keenan to Auki on a later date.

The statement says during the meeting, the two RAMSI senior executives also discussed the current capacity building work being undertaken by PPF with the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force.

SIBC News understands Ms Braithwaite and Mr Harrigan also met with the Malaita Principal Magistrate, David Alphaeus Madamangi and visited the Auki Police Station and the RAMSI funded Police Housing Project at Auki.
