Christafari Concert at Kukum Field Postponed to Monday, June 9 at 5 PM — Rain or Shine | “You Are Loved” Tour Continues in Honiara Despite the Storms
HONIARA, SOLOMON ISLANDS — June 8, 2025 — Due to heavy flooding at Kukum Field and surrounding streets, tonight’s much-anticipated free concert by Christafari, the world’s leading Gospel reggae band, has been officially postponed to Monday, June 9 at 5 PM.
The band is currently on its “You Are Loved” Tour throughout Melanesia and has already performed to thousands across five unforgettable shows in Vanuatu.

“Each stop has been powerful,” says Christafari frontman Mark Mohr, “but we truly believe that this one will be the biggest and best yet!”
While the delay may be disappointing to some, safety and accessibility remain the highest priorities.
“Sometimes delays happen,” Mohr explains. “But we’ve seen that God often uses them to set the stage for something even greater. We want to reach as many as we can — and make sure everyone can safely get there.”
The newly rescheduled concert falls on a public holiday, making it even easier for families, youth groups, and entire communities to attend.

The band encourages attendees to bring their least favorite pair of shoes (or rain boots), a big umbrella, and a heart ready for worship. Rain or shine — the concert WILL go on.
This is Christafari’s first concert in Honiara before they head to Malaita for two nights of outreach at APS Field in Auki — a celebration filled with music, hope, and the love of Christ.
