A former Tourism Fiji chief executive, Josefa Tuamoto has been appointed as CEO of the Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau.
A statement from the Bureau says Mr Tuamoto was the catalyst for repositioning Fiji’s tourism internationally under the highly successful and very high profile ‘Fiji Me’ branding.
Since leaving Tourism Fiji, Mr Tuamoto worked as a senior consultant to government bodies and major private sector organisations in several countries across the South Pacific region.
