JAPAN AND SOLOMON ISLANDS TO SIGN PORTS DOCUMENTS TODAY

Japan’s Embassy in Solomon Islands, and the Solomon Islands Governments will today sign documents towards improving Honiara Port Facilities.

Supervising Minister for Foreign Affairs Connelly Sandakabatu will sign the exchange note and grant agreement on behalf of the Solomon Islands Government.

Japan’s Ambassador to Solomon Islands, Satoshi Nakajima and Chief Representative of JICA’s Papua New Guinea office, Shigeru Sugiyama will join Minister Sandakabatu in signing the documents.

The signing ceremony takes place at 10am today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade Conference Room.
