Miracle Singers in US for Conference Session of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

By Lachlan Eddie

Miracle Singers attended the 62nd General Conference Session of the Seventh-day Adventist church held from July 3-12 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA under the theme “Jesus is coming, I will go!”

Mr. Lloyd Tahani, Miracle Singers Director said the group participated in the program by going through a process which began a year before the conference took place.

After receiving confirmation, the group sought support from churches, individuals, and the government to attend the conference.

“On behalf of the group, I would like to thank those who provided support, including the churches in Honiara, individuals, and the Solomon Islands Government through the Ministry of Traditional Governance, Peace and Ecclesiastical Affairs.

“It is because of this support that the group was able to attend the conference,” he said.

The group included six singers, a manager, three logistics and communication officers responsible for event coverage – totaling up to 10 members.

He added that it has been a great blessing, fellowship, and enrichment for the ministry when they participated in singing during the program.

“We can praise God for his faithfulness and greatness,” he said.

The Miracle Singers will arrive back in the country on Thursday.

The conference serves as a platform for electing world church officers and making changes to the church’s constitution.

It also involved worship, learning, and opportunities for connection.
