Christians from Saint Barnabas Church in North Malaita have been urged to abide by Christian life principles during this Lenten Season.

The message was delivered to more than 200 Christians by Bishop Patteson Parish Priest Richard Suiga during a Holy Communion Service yesterday.

SIBC’s stringer for North Malaita John Andrew Kiri reports, the sermon reminded Christians to follow the Christian life during the Lenten season.

“The only advice and encouraged given to the parishioners here by Reverend Father Suiga is not to give Satan a chance, and the only way to do it is to keep connecting with God through prayer so that they can overcome life’s challenges in the Christian journey.”

Lent is celebrated mainly by Anglicans and Catholics and began on Ash Wednesday, which fell on February 18 this year.
