The website upgrade is a key initiative under the Solomon Airlines Strategic Plan, which emphasizes enhancing the national carrier’s digital capabilities. For the first time, Solomon Airlines is hosting its website internally, reducing reliance on outsourcing enabling the airline’s skilled internal team to take ownership to manage and maintain the platform.
The new website features a modern design, improved navigation, and enhanced functionality, providing travellers with a smoother, more convenient booking experience. Developed by the airline’s IT team, it reflects Solomon Airlines’ commitment to innovation, efficiency, skills development and customer service excellence.

No external support or outsourcing. All in-house. A truly passionate project. This shall empower our team to rapidly iterate and deliver new feature sets more quickly, resolve issues faster, and scale seamlessly during peak demand,” he added.
