Transparency Solomon Islands (TSI) will be conducting its first community awareness today at the Borderline area, East Honiara.

The program aims to educate voters about the role of MP’s, the role of voters, the value of your vote, choosing good leaders, keeping leaders accountable, and saying no to vote buying.

A media statement from TSI says understanding these responsibilities are vital to make informed decisions as voters prepare to vote for their next Member of Parliament on November 19.

A total of 12 communities within the three constituencies were identified and TSI is engaging Volunteers from the Youth At Work program to help conduct the awareness program.
