WOMAN TO HEAR VERDICT FROM HIGH COURT CASE TOMORROW

The High Court will deliver its verdict tomorrow for a woman who allegedly buried alive her newborn baby in a shallow grave last year at Kaibia.

Nelly Waitai, 34 was charged with attempted murder for allegedly burying her newborn baby girl in a shallow grave after she gave birth her.

A man rescued the newborn from the grave and took her to the hospital where she received medical attention.

Recent reports in the media showed the ‘miracle baby’ now a year older, happy and healthy with her adoptive parents.

The judgement is set for tomorrow afternoon.
