The 2016 Mala Mwei Mei Yam Cultural Festival in Small Malaita has ended.

After a series of activities to mark this year’s festival since its opening on Sunday, a speech from the Member of Parliament for Small Malaita Hon. Rick Hou officially closed the festival for this year.

“A speech from the Hon. for Small Malaita Constituency, Rick Hou will close the Yam Cultural Festival.”

SIBC News understands, many corporate companies in Honiara took part in the festival this year.
