4th SUSPECT ARRESTED IN RELATION TO RECENT ROBBERY

Police have arrested a fourth suspect in relation to the recent robbery incident in front of the former Westpac Bank, now Bank South Pacific in Honiara.
Commissioner of Police Frank Prendergast confirmed Police arrested the fourth suspect Wednesday evening.
He says all four suspects have appeared at the Magistrate Court.
“Just confirming that police have so far have arrested four individuals who were involed in that robbery, we’ve recovered one vehicle and s sum of money, but the investigation is still ongoing and very active. Those people arrested are due to appear in the Magistrate Court today. While we still have work to do in elation to that case, I’d like to pass on my gratitude to the community for their support to the police in their investigation, it’s a good example of the police and community work.”
Three suspects were arrested earlier at the Hammock Beach on Tuesday evening after Police launched their investigation.
Police are continuing their investigation.
