COMMISSIONERS’ CONFERENCE VALUABLE FOR R.S.I.P.F: PRENDERGAST

Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast says the Pacific Police Commissioner’s Conference in Auckland, New Zealand was ‘valuable’ for the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force.

Commissioner Prendergast said the Conference was on crime prevention and cooperative approaches to policing, which are important for policing in Solomon Islands.

“The conference focused on crime prevention and cooperative approaches to policing and I think they are both very important concepts for policing in the Solomon Islands.”

Mr Prendergast said working together with communities will help produce positive results on crime breaking the country.
