The Attorney General’s vacancy notice has gone online on the PMC website to attract applicants from overseas.

The Attorney General is the Government’s chief legal advisor.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has been publishing the vacancy notice in newspapers for some weeks now and has now posted the vacancy online.

Human Resource Manager Luke Cheka says the Government wants to encourage potential applicants, locally and overseas, to get information about the vacancy from the website.

Cheka also explains this online approach saves time and makes it easier for interested applications who cannot physically visit the Prime Ministers Office in Honiara to collect application forms and other information relating to the post.

The Attorney General’s post will become vacant at the end of March 2015.

Lawyer, Billy Titiulu is currently holding the post.
