The Parliamentary Opposition Group has called on each Chairman of the Cabinet Sub-Committee to provide progressive of reports on what they have been doing.

It says, the Cabinet Sub-Committee chairpersons are Members of Parliament politically appointed by the Prime Minister to head what has been deemed as special committees.

It says, the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (OPMC) as well as the chairpersons heading these sub-committees have the responsibility to inform the people of this country the progress work of each of these sub-committees.

The statement says since Cabinet Sub-Committees such as RIPEL, RAMSI, DBSI and others have been created by OPMC, there have been no word on what these committees have been doing.

It adds, for instance, the OPMC has created a chairmanship position for DBSI in July last year with a promise to resurrect it yet there has been no word on its progress.
