FSII CALLED ON GOV’T TO REPAIR TINAHULU ROAD

Forum Solomon Islands International has called on the National Government to quickly repair Tinahulu River Bridge.

The bridge, which connects Honiara and the Gold Ridge Mine site, was damaged by the flash floods in April.

FSII made the call after the General Manager of GRML Stean Barrie told the Gold Ridge Land Owners Council , the bridge needs urgent repair from the government as the mine’s transportation depends on it.

The Gold Ridge Mining Limited General Manager had met with the Gold Ridge Landowners Council yesterday.
