Government issues notice to all foreign investors

The government through the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration has issued a notice to all registered foreign investors today.

The notice informed all foreign investors within Honiara City that the After-Care Services Unit staff from the Ministry will carry out site visits to all approved investors within Honiara City from the 1st of June to December 31st this year.

This should commence at White River, West Honiara through to Burns Creek, East Honiara.

They will also extend the visits to Henderson and Kakabona, Guadalcanal Province.

The Ministry called on Mangers, Directors or share-holders to avail themselves at their business premises and prepare all their business related documents for inspection.

Director of Foreign Investment Division Mr Derick Aihari told SIBC News today, the Ministry should launch the investigation soon after today’s notice.
