KURUKURU MADE INTENTIONS KNOWN AT 2016 OFC CHAMPS

In Sports, the Solomon Islands National Futsal Side, Kurukuru has made its intention at the 2016 OFC Futsal Championship clear with a 3-0 victory over Tahiti last night.

Vodafone Arena in Suva, Fiji came alive last night as the long-awaited rematch of 2011’s final got underway between the four-time champions the Kurukuru and twice runners-up Tahiti.

The Kurukuru captain Elliot Ragomo lived up to expectations when he hammered Kurukuru’s opening goal just over two minutes after the game started.

It only got worse for Tahiti as the Solomon Islands, buoyed by an impressive group of supporters, put another one away- courtesy of Jack Wetney.

Meanwhile, in this afternoon’s the Kurukurus have proven their supremacy by thrashing New Caledonia by 5 goals to 1.
