Leader of the Parliamentary Independent Group, Manasseh Maelanga has said careful considerations have to be given to the section on government revenue sharing under the draft Federal Constitution.

The draft Federal Constitution has now reached its second review stage.

Mr. Maelanga told a recent media conference, the draft federal constitution review team should give a careful thought on the revenue sharing section, as it will need careful handling.

“The area concerning revenue distribution or sharing of revenues if we adopted this state government system. I think that’s the point I’d like to touch on; that those who are working on the review to carefully consider revenue sharing throughout our provinces, if happens that we adopt this Federal system.”
