The Minister for Education and Human Resource Development, Hon. Tozen Leokana is expected to sign the release of the forms 3,5 and 6 examination results next week.

Acting Permanent Secretary Christopher Sakiri said the proposed date to release the results is on Monday 13 January.

Permanent Secretary, Dr. Franco Rodie, will assess the results along with the accompanying reports and analysis.

He will then endorse the results for the education minister to officially sign the release.

This process follows Part 7, Division 2, Section 64(1) of the Education Act 2023, as well as Part 3, Division 20(1), and Division 3, Section 22 of the Secondary Education Certificates Scheme.

Mr. Sakiri explained that according to the Ministry’s schedule, a tentative list of schools and placements should be available by Friday, January 10th. However, the Ministry requires more time to finalize the reports, particularly regarding placements, to ensure they are ready for educational providers, schools, parents and guardians and the media by Monday, January 13th.

Reports would include data analysis and notes on student enrollments from last year, as well as placement schools.

The Ministry will provide further information to the public on the results next week.
