MUA VOWS TO DIALOGUE WITH GUADALCANAL PROVINCE
The newly re-elected Honiara City Mayor, Andrew Mua has pledged to dialogue with the Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly over outstanding land matters raised by Guadalcanal people.
The City Mayor says, as the legitimate body governing Honiara City, his executive will collaborate with the Veke-led Government to calculate a tolerable solution to the outstanding issue.
Mr. Mua made the comment soon after his election yesterday.
“As a local government that looks after Honiara, we will as much as possible try and have dialogues with Guadalcanal province and address those issues and it’s important that we talk government to government to find ways and solutions to address these issues as they must be addressed.”
