POLICE DEMANDED TO EXPLAIN CAUSE OF DEATH OF VILLAGE LAD

An update just came to hand from the police, a group of almost 100 frustrated relatives turned up at Tetere Police Station this morning and demanded police explanation to the cause of death of one of their youths.
A police accommodation situated by the road was partly damaged. Officers’ food gardens near the station were uprooted.
Police Media unit says an officer sustained minor injury to his forehead.
Additional police have been deployed to Tetere and the situation there is now under control.
Senior RSIP members are at the scene, collaborating with the elders of the community and also Member of Parliament to try and resolve the matter peacefully.
It adds Police are expected to retrieve the body for proper medical examination to determine the cause of death.
