NATIONAL RUGBY SQUAD PREPARES FOR PACIFIC GAMES IN PNG IN JULY
The Solomon Islands National Rugby Sevens squad will resume training tomorrow in preparation for the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea in July this year.
A statement from the Solomon Islands Rugby Union Federation says it is recalling the squad that participated in the Oceania Sevens tournament in Noosa last year for the Pacific Games.
The Federation says the first training session begins at 5pm tomorrow at the Panatina Rugby Field.
Meanwhile, the Federation is partnering with sponsors to organise a series of rugby tournaments in Honiara for next month.
The tournaments will culminate into the Easter National Sevens to feature the national team for the Pacific Games.
