Today marks the official commencement of the Biometric Voter Registration process.
The registration process will take 40 days ending April 18th.

An earlier assurance from the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission, SIEC, says work was on schedule to meet the 10th March Biometric Voter Registration commencement date.

SIBC news understands officials, materials and equipment have been dispatched to all registration centres around the country last week.
