Our Telekom customers in Small Malaita have called on the company to properly monitor its tower regularly for better network services in the area.

A Richard Hou from Small Malaita told SIBC News, customers, government workers and others have often experience network outages, which makes communication so difficult, especially during work hours.

“This really affects government officers and other NGO officers working in Small Malaita to communicate with their offices outside of Small Malaita, because no one can communicate whenever there’s a network outage.”

Meanwhile, Noel Nelu from Our Telekom Project Engineering said, the company’s Network Operation Centre does not receive any fault alerts for Small Malaita.
