PRE-PREMIER’s CONFERENCE HELD IN HONIARA

A one-day Pre-Premier’s Conference has started at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara today.
A statement from the Honiara City Council (HCC) said the purpose of the conference is to update Premiers and their Provincial Secretaries, the Honiara City Mayor and City Clerk on preparations of the upcoming Premier’s conference.
Co-hosted by the Guadalcanal Province and Honiara City Council (HCC), this year’s 8th Premier’s Conference will take place in October.
The statement says today’s Pre-Premier’s Conference will also inform its participants on the Gizo Communiqué and its progress as well as what it has achieved in 2013.
The conference today will also prepare the final program to be followed in October during the actual Premier’s Conference for this
year.
