The day culminated with an official function at Paradiso Restaurant hosted by the country’s Fiji based High Commission office.

Student representatives and members of the Suva based working community invited to the official dinner have been encouraged to be law abiding citizens and committed to their study or work.

Among the many agendas Forum Leaders will consider is the reform of the Pacific Islands Forum to promote unity and strengthen cooperation and collaboration among and between the Forum family.

A number of bilateral engagements and a Special MSG Summit are being planned for the PIFS margin.

The Prime Minister’s delegation attending this year’s Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting include the Foreign Minister Hon Jeremiah Manele, Minister of National Planning and Development Coordination, Hon. Rex Ramofafia and a number of senior officials.
