PRIME MINISTER CLEARS AIR OVER RESHUFFLING
The Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare clarifies, he has no interest in the civil aviation airport contracts that resulted in the reshuffling of the former Aviation Minister.
The Prime Minister says the reshuffling of the former Minister was not a decision he made alone.
He says the former minister was not performing.
“Sir the reason for the reshuffling since this matter came out is clearly on non-performance. As Prime Minister of and leading a government Mr. Speaker I would like to see performing ministers in their posts. And it’s good to here Mr. Speaker that some reference was made to some of the issues that never progressed in that ministry.”
Mr Sogavare requests, the policy for the airport contracts must also come before cabinet.
