The Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) has elected its new board for 2024-2025 during its 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) this evening in Honiara.

Ms. Namoi Kaluae, Co-Founder of Adkonect and Pacific Tenders was elected Chair, replacing outgoing Chair Qila Tuhanuku.

Ms. Kaluae was a former Gold Sponsor of SICCI and Award winner of the New Business of the Year Award at the 2017 SICCI Business Excellence Awards.

Her election makes her the second female to be elected Chair in the SICCI Board.

Speaking after her election, Ms. Kaluae assures to work with its members in developing economic growth.

Meanwhile, Kramer Ausenco (SI) Ltd Country Manager Daniel Tucker was elected as the SICCI Board Vice- Chair unopposed.

  • Gordon Denty, Managing Director- Insights Pacific Ltd

  • Dinna Rofufuli, Head of Human Resource- Our Telekom

SIBC News understands, eight members are to be elected for the SICCI Board every year under its constitution.
