A trial date is still to be set for the lawsuit against the Parliamentary Entitlements Commission (PEC) and the Attorney General.

The case appeared before the Court yesterday morning for further directions.

Chief Justice Sir Albert Palmer told parties present, the case will come back to the Court on September 11th.

The case was filed by private lawyer Andrew Radclyffe on behalf of claimants Waita Ben Tabusasi, Ruth Liloqula, Hon. Derick Manu’ari, Tony Hughes and Reverend Mark Graham.

It challenges the Parliamentary Entitlements Commission (PEC) and the Attorney General to prove the validity of the 2015 Parliament Entitlements Commission Amendment Regulation.
