TROPICAL DISTURBANCE WATCH ADVISE CURRENT FOR ALL PROVINCES
A tropical disturbance watch advise is current for all provinces and islands.
In its fourth tropical disturbance watch advice, issued at 7am this morning, the National MET Service warns gale force winds of 34 to 47 knots to are expected develop over Rennell and Bellona, Makira and Southern Guadalcanal.
The National MET Service also says the gale force winds are expected to ease overnight.
The remaining islands are also warned to expect winds of 15 to 25 knots, gusting to 40 knots.
The MET Service also warns that seas will be moderate to rough, and that there will be coastal flooding, with heavy rain and squally thunderstorms.
The MET Service is also asking people to take precautionary measures during this bad weather and to listen to all radio outlets for further advises.
At 5am this morning, the tropical depression was located about 155 nautical miles south of Rennell and Bellona Island, and was reported as now moving East South-East.
