Solomon Warriors are through to the quarter finals of the Oceania Champions league Tournament after beating AS Dragons 2-1  in Papeete, Tahiti yesterday.

Jude Molea’s 84th  minute goal ensured the Warriors march through to the next stage of the competition.

The Warriors first goal was scored halfway into the first half through striker Kensi Tangis- a glancing header from a wide free-kick.

Both Team went to half time with the Warriors leading by a goal to nil.

The Tahitian side equalized in the 76th minute through Rainui TZE-YU, but their celebrations was short lived after they conceded a penalty five minutes later, to which Jude Molea stepped up and hammered home the winning goal.

The win means the warriors qualifies for the quarter finals alongside AS Dragon, who are still on top of the table despite the loss.
