H.C.C TO CONDUCT BUILDING INSPECTIONS SOON

The Honiara City Council has advised all residential and commercial building owners, it will soon conduct building inspection within the Central Business District and the City’s outskirts.

The Office of the City Clerk says, this action shall be conducted pursuant to section 17 of the Honiara City Council Building By-Law by which the Council’s Building and Environmental Health Inspectors shall or may enter the premises to inspect and make formal recommendations on accommodation status.

The Council wants to ensure buildings within the City are of proper standard, fit for human occupation and present a formidable look for the City.

It adds the Council requests cooperation from residential and commercial building owners for this action.
