Kirakira residents will soon see a new market house built for them, says the Makira Ulawa Provincial Secretary Silas Sitai.
Provincial Secretary Sitai says funding for the new market house comes from the PCDF program.
In an interview with SIBC News recently, Mr Sitai says the market house will replace the run-down market house in the provincial headquarter.
He says the market house is one development the provincial government will pursue this year to allow people to sell their produces in a conducive and healthy environment.
“We’ll take off the old one and do improvements on the side and continue building the new facility so that it can be able to accommodate all farmers who sell their produce as well as the fishermen who used the area vicinity to sell their catch.”
