RENBEL PREMIER PRIORITIZES SERVICE DELIVERY TO ITS PEOPLE

The Premier for Rennell and Bellona Province Collin Tesuatai has said restoring service delivery to people is one of his government’s priorities.

The Provincial Government was suspended last year by the National Government following issues of financial mismanagement, unstable provincial governance systems and lack dedication from the provincial Assembly members.

Premier Collin Tesuatai told SIBC News his government is working on restoring services delivery to the people as required by the National Government.

“I see it as setting up a totally new province in that we have to go through areas that were never met by our previous government but we are trying our very best in setting up the province and getting it back to meet the requirements of the national government.”
