RINI DECLARED HE HASN’T FAILED MALAITA

Finance Minister Snyder Rini has declared he has not failed Malaita Province.
Minister Rini made the statement in Parliament on Monday, in response to a newspaper article headlined “Rini fails Malaita”.
But he told Parliament “this Minister of Finance has not failed Malaita”.
“”I just want to make some clarifications on the debates on the other side, which came out in newspapers, saying ‘Rini fails Malaita’, No Sir, No. This Government does not fail Malaita. This Minister of Finance does not fail Malaita.
The Finance Minister further outlined the projects earmarked for Malaita in this year’s National Budget.
“After the budget is passed, we will re-tender the Northern road which was tendered previously but somehow the contract never got through, so we will re-tender it not for maintenance but for rehabilitation. We will also tender out the Southern road. We will also seal the Auki town. All of these are included in the budget, everything has posted. The Suafa Bay, Bina Habour
