The competition schedule for this year’s Pacific Games will be finalised by the end of this week.
This is following a successful second ‘All of Sports Meeting’ over the weekend in Port Moresby.
A media release from the Port Moresby 2015 Pacific Games Communications Manager Melissa Fairi said the 2nd ‘All of Sports Meeting’ saw 28 technical delegates representing the International Federations of each of the 28 sports that will be staged during the Games.
She said the Games Organizing Committee also provided an update to the technical delegates on the planning and preparation of the Games.
The statement adds the delegates were also given a tour of their specific sporting venues to familiarize themselves.
Ms Fairi says, local designated Sports Competition Managers were also present alongside their international sport technical representatives to assist in the planning process.
