‘Corruption is our dilemma’

Governor-General Sir David Vunagi in Kohimarama last Friday

It has become our common culture to accept and live with corruption and other acts of injustice say Governor-General His Excellency Sir David Vonage.

These erode moral acts in life that Solomon Islanders and their leaders should value to promote peace and loving society.

Governor-General, Sir David Vunagi told the graduates of Bishop Patteson Theological College yesterday.

Sir David said the country is in a dilemma.

“It has become common knowledge that corruption and other acts of injustice have taken precedence of acceptable norms and systems that provoke peace and love in societies. We are the dilemma! weather you support me or not! We are in dilemma!”
