ADVENTURE ALL STARS “LEGENDS 2” FILMING IN THE SPECTACULAR SOLOMON ISLANDS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TOURISM SOLOMONS, MINISTRY OF CULTURE & TOURISM
Special 2-Part Television Event To Screen to 200 million in 195 Countries
Solomon Islands will headline the second instalment of the special 2-part television event, Adventure All Stars “LEGENDS 2”.
From Sunday May 12 to Thursday May 16 – in partnership with Tourism Solomons and the Ministry of Culture & Tourism – 12 authentic and philanthropic cast from across Australia will fly from Brisbane to Honiara with the assistance of Solomon Airlines to experience the best of the Solomon Islands.
Filming of the second instalment of Adventure All Stars “LEGENDS 2” will see the 12 cast members take part in activities in and around Honiara including hiking the Tenaru Water Falls, visiting Hotomai Cultural Village, swimming with dolphins on Savo Island, Kokama rafting, cultural dance performances at Roderick Bay and snorkelling at Maravaghi Island. Cast and crew will be accommodated in luxury at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara.
Prior to filming each of the “LEGENDS 2” TV cast members raised funds for their nominated charity – and their reward is a starring role in this ground-breaking television event.
All net proceeds from the Adventure All Stars “LEGENDS 2” series being filmed in Solomon Islands will be gifted to the following charities – ADHD Australia, ADHDWA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kokoda Youth Foundation, StandByU and Walk a While.
The Adventure All Stars “LEGENDS” format first went into production in 2023 and the inaugural television event is slated to air in June of 2024 featuring Tropical North Queensland and Vanuatu. “LEGENDS 2” which features Mandurah in Western Australia and the Solomon Islands will screen in the last quarter of 2024 in 195 countries to an audience approaching 200 million people.
Each Adventure All Stars “LEGENDS” television event brings together the best-of-the-best philanthropic TV cast from past seasons of ‘Adventure All Stars’ – the TV travel show with a difference! Every episode of Adventure All Stars features 12 new authentic cast members travelling to spectacular locations as they uncover the best and most exciting experiences on the planet!
Adventure All Stars seasons one, two and three are currently available in Australia via 7PLUS, Fetch, Samsung TV Plus and the Outdoor Channel. In addition, Adventure All Stars in 2024 will screen in 195 countries to an audience approaching 200 million people. International broadcast partners include Outdoor Channel Asia, TVNZ, Tata Sky and Newyonder.
63 episodes of Adventure All Stars have now been produced – encompassing 59 episodes of Adventure All Stars and four Adventure All Stars “LEGENDS” special television events – and the amount fundraised since the inception of this ground-breaking TV format is approaching $10 million, making Adventure All Stars the biggest contributor to philanthropy of any TV show in Australia and one of the biggest providers to charity of any TV series in the world.
