ALL HEAVY RAIN ALERTS CANCELLED FOR SOLOMON ISLANDS
The Solomon Islands Met Services has cancelled all Heavy Rain Alerts issued for the country.
The alerts were cancelled at 5pm, yesterday evening.
In a statement, the Met Services says the Heavy Rain Alert previously in force for Isabel, Central, Guadalcanal, Malaita, Makira and Rennell/Bellona provinces is now Cancelled.
This is due to a trough lies just south of Solomon Islands and links to a weak Low now moving further away from Solomon Islands.
Associated cloud and areas of heavy rain showers are now easing.
