The High Court will deliver its Judgement into the lengthy Court battle between mining giants Axiom KB of Australia and Japanese mining firm Sumitomo this week.

The judgement expected to be an extensive one, has been set down for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am and 12pm respectively.

The trial between the two mining companies took nine months, beginning October last year and concluding on the first of July this year.

Sumitomo took Axiom, the Solomon Islands government, and several landowners from a proposed nickel area in Isabel to Court, claiming Axiom followed improper processes to obtain its licence and register in Solomon Islands.
