BILLS COMMITTEE DONE SCRUTINISING ANTI-CORRUPTION BILLS

The Bills and Legislation Committee has completed scrutinising the Anti-Corruption Bill and the Whistle Blowers Bill.

This was confirmed by the Chairman of the Bills and Legislation Committee MP for North West Choiseul Connelly Sandakabatu on Distaem Nao this morning.

He says his committee has finalised the bill and will soon be tabled in Parliament.

“We have finished our work as the scrutiny body to scrutinise those two Bills and we have also produced the required reports and it is now ready to be tabled in Parliament so of course at least we have done our part and they are now ready to be tabled in Parliament.”
