Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACoM) in Bita’ama, North Malaita have celebrated their Patron St. Day.

The annual event is normally to help the church reflect on its past and future developments.

SIBC News stringer in North Malaita Mr John Andrew Kiri confirms last week’s celebration.

“Tuesday, day 1 a church service was held to remember Bishop Coleridge Patterson and Father Reverend Richard Suiga reminded the Anglican community of Bishop Patterson’s life on how he had accepted God’s call through Bishop Selwyn of New Zealand who called for a volunteer for someone to serve in the Pacific, including Solomon Islands.”
