The Cabinet has decided on an annual financial contribution of 500-Thousand dollars to people with special needs studying at San Isidro Care Centre,
Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo made the announcement yesterday while visiting the campus.
Mr Lilo says the government has made a commitment to assist primary, secondary and Tertiary institutions in the country and abroad adding, it will only be fair if the government assistance is also extended to people with special needs to study at San Isidro Care Centre at Aruligo.
The Prime Minister has assured the school that just as the government rolls out its free education policy to schools, it is obliged to make financial commitment to citizens of the country with special needs.
