FULFILL YOUR PROMISE MAELANGA: EAST MALAITA CONSTITUENTS

East Malaita Constituents have questioned their Member of Parliament and Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Maelanga as to when he will fulfill his promise to repair the deteriorating East Malaita road.
Mr. Maelanga recently promised to purchase machines to repair the deteriorating East road.
But SIBC stringer for East Malaita, Enoch Idui reports machines have been purchased but no work has started.
“We haven’t seen any machines here, maybe they are still in Honiara or elsewhere, but for any new machines purchased by the MP to show up here, there’s none. We’ve heard of his promise to purchasing machines in the past three months but we haven’t seen any tangible work or even the machines present here.”
Meanwhile, the Constituents call on their MP to fulfill his promises.
“They appeal on the MP to send the machines quickly as now the road conditions are very poor.”
SIBC News understands, the machines were purchased with Constituency funds.
