CARETAKER PM LILO CONGRATULATES TAIWAN FOR 103rd ANNIVERSARY

Caretaker Prime Minister, Gordon Darcy Lilo has sent congratulatory messages to the President and the People of Taiwan to mark Taiwan’s 103rd National Day celebrations.
In a statement, the Caretaker Prime Minister expressed appreciation to the President and Leaders of Taiwan, saying Solomon Islands appreciates the long standing friendship and close cooperation between Taiwan and the Solomon Islands.
Mr Lilo also told Taiwan, the Government and People of Solomon Islands will continue to value their commitment and contribution in strengthening bilateral relations most especially, Taiwan’s ongoing support towards the development of Solomon Islands.
He said the two country’s historical ties and close friendship at all levels are an indication of the commitment to strengthening our long-standing ties.
Taiwan’s Double Ten Celebrations was celebrated last Friday.
