The Central Islands Provincial Government had its first provincial assembly meeting on Friday.

Addressing his colleagues, Premier Selwyn Mapuli says the people of Central Province want change in leadership attitude; one that improve people’s trust and where development is realised.

Premier Mapuli says, the province has been stagnant with very little progress over the years.

He says people of Central Islands Province demand the current provincial government to turn things around for their betterment.

Mr Mapuli calls for cooperation and teamwork- only then will development becomes reality for the province.

Lilian Keru reports from Tulagi, Premier Mapuli urged all MPAs to be valuable in their duty as servant leaders.
