A Burnscreek chief has called on the victims of the flash flood to abide by the laws.

Chief Peter Usi made the call following claims that an alleged protest is being planned amongst some of the victims of the flash floods.

Speaking to SIBC News, Mr Usi strongly calls on the people to think carefully and not to take the law into their own hands.

He says the victims should work hand in hand with the government and not take the law into their own hands.

Mr Usi also urged the government to listen to the victims and work closely with them.
