Many community leaders in the country have appreciated the newly launched radio awareness program on law and order issues of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF).

The program is being presented by the RSIPF Head of Departments both in Honiara and those in the provinces.

Last Friday SIBC News stringer for North Malaita John Andrew Kiri reports community leaders of North Malaita in Malaita Province applauds the new RSIPF radio program.

Various levels of listeners believe, the initiative will positively and collectively address lawlessness in the country, especially in rural areas.

“Church leaders, chiefs, women and people in general here have commended him for continuing on because community leaders who use to follow-up the police program on the radio can also be able to make their communities aware of the importance of the police awareness talk especially in terms of law and order and crime prevention which is very important for us in the country especially in the rural villages.”
